I have many years experience as a research geophysicist and software developer at Earth Signal Processing Ltd, in the oil industry in Calgary, Alberta. My chief role has been to write code to accomplish various geophysical objectives related to seismic data processing, image creation and analysis. Most of the code written has been in the languages C and C++. Between adding new software to the suite of products that the company offers, and performing bug fixes and small feature additions to assist the current company projects, I have become an valued part of a seismic data processing team, in a highly demanding industry. I am also a teacher and tutor of all things Physics and Math. As an example, most recently I have taught the math component of a GMAT prep course. But through my life, I have done various forms of tutoring and teaching. I consider any subject in the world of math and physics, from high school and into university, as my area of expertise.
