Ever since I was a child, my curiosity had driven me to learn as much as I could about the world around me. I consistently asked my family "what if" in search of a definite answer. As I grew older, the curiosity never dwindled, but a simple answer did not fill my hunger like it used to. Instead of questioning, I began to act and turn these hypotheticals into something meaningful. What If people struggled in a time of need?- I created Corantine, a home-made hand sanitizer brand that aided those during the 2020 pandemic- I hand-mixed and developed a strong sanitizing solution to replace the empty shelves in the stores- I prioritized my community's well-being to ensure they felt safe and confident in my product- With a sales price of $6 / bottle and COGS of roughly $2 / bottle, I was able to reach a steady 66% profit margin which revealed just over $1000 in revenue.What If I created a new business in a specific niche?- I created GTOproducts, an apparel / accessory brand revolving around specific 90s cars- I adapted quickly to this new environment of designing, producing, and marketing everything to guarantee success in my business- GTOproducts reached ears around the world as I began networking and selling globally- I established and reached a difficult financial goal within six months to ensure I could purchase one of these cars- I scaled social media accounts to over 100k followers to give my business more exposure- With a 55% profit margin on apparel, and 110% on accessories, I generated roughly $5000 in revenueWhat If I strive to learn more to be the most successful in my industry?- Years of customer service have built an excellent foundation for my communication skills- I've continued quenching my thirst for knowledge by completing multiple Forage simulations to prepare for a full-time position- By providing financial services to those around me, I am able to continue using my valuable skills learned in college in a real-world settingMy desire to learn more did not end after receiving my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at State University of New York at College Geneseo.
