Accountable for the safe and compliant delivery of the Direct Connections process within Cadent. Setting both contractors and direct labour to work in carrying out new service connections, alters and disconnections. Responsible for utilising lead engineers to carry out any downstream works.

Attending to all gas escapes on the distribution network, reported by the general public and other various stakeholders. Installing and removing gas metering assets both domestic and non-domestic.

A 2 year apprenticeship with National Grid up-skilling In core gas safety, metering/pipework and emergency service provider.
