More broadly I have participated in and led numerous teams at university around the Formula Student competition including a delegation to China. I also spent 8 years as a senior Motorsport race official. Having responsibility for safety at events with over 100 competitors and thousands of spectators. I was also part of the team that ran the FE School Series in support of FIA Formula E Season one and laid the groundwork for the first closed road electric motor race in England.I hold a BEng in Motorsport Engineering and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering.

Including preparing the documentation nessecery to obtain a Closed Road Permit from the MSA (Now Motorsport UK)
