Working with Prof Raghu Reddy to develop haptics for VR applications. Presented our research at the 4th All India Design Innovation Centre National Meet, hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH).•Built a wearable haptic system from scratch that provides vibrotactile feedback to the user and also measures forces applied to the palm.• Worked on a framework to interface the system with the Meta Quest 3 HMD, for haptics in Virtual Reality applications.• Conducted user study for over thirty participants to evaluate the effectiveness of training users in CPR by using haptics to build muscle memory.

Worked with Prof Sachin Chaudhari, to develop novel non-invasive waterestimation techniques based on the movement of the tap handle.

Sensible Devices is building IOT devices to promote sustainability and healthy living. Currently working on the following products.Sensible Flow estimates water usage based on the position of the tap handle after it has been rotated/moved. It is easy to setup and does not require any modification to the existing water line. The device gives warnings when excess water is being consumed. [Patent Granted IN 389016-001 ]Sensible Gaming, converts exercise equipment into game controllers to provide a healthy gaming experience. [Featured on Times of India]Sensible Watch, Leverages touch-based interaction on the watch strap for accessibility instead of small buttons. [Featured on Hackaday]Sensible Soil, solar powered supercapacitor based Soil Sensors to measure parameters such as moisture, temperature and pH. Low maintenance devices designed to operate up to 20 years.

Designed and developed hardware and software products and courses for K-12 and college students. -Developed an IOT course, end-to-end hardware and software development of IOT projects. Engaged in projects focused on plant phenotyping and environmental sensing. -Developed an AI foundation course, Object detection and segmentation using OpenCV, Handwriting interpretation, Data visualization, Speech recognition. Formative years, my undergrad degree involved prototyping robots and IOT systems.Presented a paper titled "Work-in-Progress: Silent Speech Recognition Interface for the Differently Abled" at the International Conference on Remote Engineering and Virtual Instrumentation, 2019.Finalist in the Pravega Innovation Summit conducted at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Presenting our project ”Silent Speech Recognition for the differently abled".Secured 2nd best research paper award for ”Silent Speech Recognition” in National Conference and Projethon on Science, Engineering and Management-2019 held at The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore.Secured 2nd place for “Hexa-Agri Robot” in the Science Exhibition held at The Oxford College of Engineering, Bangalore.“Hexa-Agri Robot” was selected in top 3000 solutions to Transform India in NDTV SMART50 Competition.
