Technology has always held an extremely high interest for me. Starting with my first VIC-20 (from a garage sale) through the 386-486 era and Intel-based processors, up to the IBM iSeries; I have strived to learn and understand all facets of the modern computer. During my education, I found that I was not content with a 'standard' separation of techs and programmers so I made it my goal to take on both fields. After 6 years of arduous study and many a time working through the night, I successfully achieved my goal with a 3.6 GPA. I worried that my need to try to comprehend every shred of technology would eventually lead to a burnout but after being a professional in the field for over a decade, I can safely say I don't ever see that as being a problem. I have a gift, one that I recognized and embraced at a very young age, and a desire to utilize that gift. If you have a problem that can be solved by technology then I have a need to help you find a solution.
