I am focused on strategic workforce and junior leader development through a program of graduate and undergraduate research focused on radiation detector development and nuclear effects modeling and simulation. I support both engineering capstone design and independent research projects as well as nuclear engineering curriculum development for nuclear weapons effects and nuclear instrumentation course. I also administer the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's R&D cadet summer internship program, connecting more than 100 cadets and midshipman with DoD research organizations, civilian research universities, and operational military units to advance nuclear technology capability development.I am an expert in the Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Threat and Vulnerability Assessment, and Strategic, Operational, and Tactical CWMD planning, assessment, and training management. I am experienced in expeditionary fixed-site protection, CBRN and WMD program and facility assessment and exploitation, and consequence management.I seek challenging leadership and technical opportunities in National Security and Applied Sciences.
