The analysis included the development of a weighted evaluation model with detailed criteria to assess the current APS functions of the AWRDS system and in regards to two possible courses of action (COAs) which included modifying the current Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) system or the baseline “to-be” functions for the Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army). As part of this analysis, ZYGOS developed a detailed cost and benefit-estimating model to support the analysis and recommendation. This cost model took into account current costs for the systems in each COA and used a mix of bottoms-up engineering, parametric, and analogy cost estimating approaches to estimate lifecycle costs for each COA. Subject matter expert in Knowledge Management and related technology for the CIO/G-6 partnership on Defense Knowledge Online (DKO)/Army Knowledge Online (AKO) projects—supporting the creation, identification, storage, access, distribution and commerce of knowledge, intellectual capital, and content and learning assets; and ensuring best practices, strategic approaches and methods are employed to support knowledge requirements of operational units.
