Additionally, I provided secondary support for all IT engineering, networking, and security initiatives, backing up the Senior Network Administrator, and offered Level 1/2/3 IT support for all other daily operational issues.Notable projects during my tenure include the successful completion of the river dock refit of operations (process and office) while in production due to a barge strike, a new access control infrastructure project to comply with Coast Guard regulations, vendor selection for new access control, installation of new security camera servers and applications, and a security camera project that enabled critical equipment monitoring in operating units. I also oversaw the wireless scale-up to support new warehouse management technologies, the informational displays project, and the selection of a new e-mail security and phish testing vendor, coordinating regularly scheduled phish tests along with automating difficulty scaling.As the primary support for the complete VOIP phone replacement, I managed the migration from the old PBX, and I facilitated the clean-up of old abandoned equipment and wiring in half of the company-managed data centers. I also spearheaded the complete fleet replacement of company-provided computers, including managing the recycling and secure destruction of old equipment.

Our work helped to modernize the shipyard's printing infrastructure and improve the efficiency of its operations.I also did a couple of other roles with TEK Systems for various companies until landing the role with EDS/HP at Cytec Industries.
