My approach is an integrated discipline that combines human-centered research, strategic design planning, market opportunity definition, concept development & testing, and prototyping.Over the course of my career, I have cultivated a holistic design and innovation skill set, holding leadership positions at IDEO, Capital One, Keurig, New Balance, General Motors, and Well Told (an Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Company in the personalized home goods category). Additionally, I have founded a multi-disciplinary design, innovation, and strategy consultancy called Graphite Direction which served Fortune 500 companies, established brands, and rapid-growth startups across a diverse set of industries including consumer goods, sport & lifestyle, pharma & health care, and financial services.I hold a Masters in Design Methods (MDM) from the Institute of Design in Chicago and a Bachelors of Industrial and Interaction Design (BID) from Syracuse University. While at Syracuse, I was a Division 1 Varsity athlete in Rowing (Crew) and 2 year team captain.
