I was appointed store manager running the store. This meant I was the face of the store and would deal with all of the customers who came in, helping choose the correct gear they would need to up their strength, speed and overall fitness. With this I also brought new brands to the store by arranging meetings with myself and reps from other companies to grow the company.I managed a team of 3 bike mechanics arranging the bookings for bike services and replacing of parts. This also meant I would order parts and tools that were necessary to complete the job.I also managed the stores overall stock, ordering bikes, wetsuits, accessories etc.I believe this position allowed me to;Become confident dealing with many customers at once paying close attention to what needs they had.Understand the process of bringing in new products and how to engage other companies with proposals as to how I can sell their products in a more effective way.
