I'm a third-year Pre-Law student at The Ohio State University majoring in finance and economics and minoring in judicial politics. I'm set to graduate in May 2026.Throughout the past few years, I've had many opportunities to better myself both personally and professionally. During my first year at The Ohio State University, I served as a financial coordinator within the Undergraduate Student Government, where I learned how to manage a budget. In my capacity as Technology and Marketing Chair for CAACURH's Regional Business Conference, I learned how to effectively market and integrate technology into leadership and professional development.As my first year at OSU was coming to a close, the City of Avon Lake offered me the position of Chief Umpire/Umpire Coordinator, where I took over from a man thirty years my senior. In this capacity, I managed ~25 people, training 18 of them, and handling scheduling and payroll. This introduced me to management, where I was able to develop effective leadership skills in improving team dynamics.Finally, at the end of July, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine appointed me to serve as the Undergraduate Student Trustee on The Ohio State University Board of Trustees. In this role, I am the sole undergraduate member with full voting privileges and responsibilities. In the short time that I've been in this role, I've already reviewed and approved a multi-billion dollar budget for FY2024, approved Framework 3.0, the newest campus master plan, and appointed Ted Carter as OSU's new President. I meet with university administrators on a frequent basis in order to ensure effective university oversight and administration.I'm currently looking for internships or part-time jobs primarily in consulting, financial analysis, or investment banking. I'm also seeking internships and shadowing opportunities in the legal field.
