In addition, I also performed lab testing on a major product in development, analyzed data collected from the testing, and presented it during triweekly meetings. Jun 2012 - Aug 2013East Hartford, Connecticut, UsI designed and performed an original experiment to determine the exposure times of various cameras, and wrote a program with a graphical user interface that analyzed data collected from said experiment. I also designed and built an adjustable calibration device allowing for the standardized calibration of Gammapix© on any phone. In addition, I developed a program to allow for the tertiary calibration of select phones, by first compiling pertinent information from the Gammapix© database and then analyzing this data to determine the calibration numbers for phones meeting certain criteria. Finally, I coauthored a paper titled “Crowd-Sourced Calibration of Uncontrolled Radiation Detectors,” published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, as well as a patent concerning tertiary calibration that is pending. -
