Covered 15 high schools, one junior college, and one collegiate summer baseball team in southwest Washington and northwest Oregon. Also worked as a photographer and helped with page design and editing.

Summer intern both 2018 and 2019. In 2018, worked as a beat writer covering the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers. Wrote one print notebook per home game, as well as an online recap afterward. Also wrote five longer features, as well as two additional pieces covering UW football fall camp.In 2019, started the summer on the Rainiers beat again, but also helped out as a substitute Seahawks beat reporter.
