Plan and budget for technology for the upcoming school year/Research/evaluate hardware and new technologies. Plan large networking/IT projects such as updating firewalls, network infrastructure, VOIP, etc. Evaluate software/apps for compatibility and "supportability" within the school's resources.Work with the administration on upcoming technology needs and planning. Manage 900 student devices, 130 staff devices (Chromebooks/iPads/Mac/Windows)Manage staff and student accounts. Manage and upkeep network.Work with python/shell scripts to manage school automated functions. Manage school print servers/printers. Respond to tech tickets. Manage the visitor/staff sign-in system for the school/Security/risk management systems.Manage school web filtering.The day to day work during the job is contstatly changing. Some days I have to work only on tech tickets with teachers, while others I am in meetings with administration all day. I love being organized and having to keep track of all tasks at hand. I love using spreadsheets and automation to keep track of what needs to be done and how to plan for it. The variability of the job has allowed me to learn how to adapt and react to an ever-changing technological world.This position has been very valuable in offering such a broad area of experience.

Required to plan and organize teams' schedules, equipment, and players. I was tasked with communicating with other schools to schedule games. I also was in charge of interviewing and hiring coaches for the teams. Each year I was also in charge of monitoring and disciplining students for game/practice behaviors. I had to make sure students and coaches understood the guidelines for playing and coaching each season. I also was in charge of scheduling the school gym/soccer field for other teams/programs to use. This job really taught me how to stay organized and how to manage and encourage other people.
