I am an accountant at Google with an emphasis on new products at YouTube. This role involves setting up new offerings within YouTube to ensure that are properly operationalized to be accounted for correctly with minimal manual effort. I am also involved in ongoing processes to support timely and accurate reporting of financials for period close.I have prior experience as a Senior Analyst in Revenue Operations at VMware. My work primarily involved recurring finance activities related to month end close, system testing, and development of necessary reporting, as well as other tasks which help support accurate revenue recognition.In addition, I have prior experience as a Senior Consultant in the Finance practice within Business Consulting at EY. My projects mainly focused on accounting regulation changes, finance transformation, and system implementations.I am especially experienced with system implementations related to revenue recognition and lease accounting, as I have worked in a variety of roles involving system configuration, process design, and project management. I also have significant financial process experience, including procure to pay, fixed asset/leasing lifecycle, and record to report.One interest that I have is to further my work with nonprofits to use the skills that I have developed to make a tangible difference in people's lives.
