Second line mechanical execution and planning supervisor for a designated section of Imperial's Strathcona Refinery in Edmonton, AB.- Supervised groups: Metals, Electrical, Instrumentation, Machinery first-line supervisors, and planners.- Accountable for safe and reliable operations.- Complex included: Refinery utility plant, Lube plant, Gasoline hydro treating units, Diesel hydro treating units.- Responsibilities: Ensure safe, efficient mechanical department operations, oversee work screening, planning, scheduling, and execution, and advise the mechanical availability leader for unit reliability and cost management.

-Scheduled and coordinated all the unit operations and crude into the refinery to maximize refinery profitability. -Provided leadership and coordination for the gasoline and diesel blending and scheduling desks, with the goal of safe, reliable and profitable refinery operations.

-Responsible for scheduling, optimizing and blending all grades of gasoline at the refinery for distribution to Imperial’s supply distribution organization.-Managed and developed optimal blend recipes to minimize octane giveaway and vapor pressure giveaway and grow the gasoline blending pool to maximize the profits for the refinery finished gasoline products.-Provided direction to the offsite operational business team organization for what gasoline blends to execute including direction and management of overall product and component inventories. This management included balancing and managing the light ends inventories within the refinery.
