Supervises the Veteran Services Programs at Pecan Valley Centers' 6-County region. Ensures prudent execution of the Veterans General Assistance and Veterans Mental Health Grants. Plans, coordinates, and develops regional veterans’ activities; and evaluates local program services to maintain the Veterans’ Resource Directory. MHMR provides substance use outpatient services to boys and girls, ages 13-17, at two locations in Tarrant County. Both locations provide group-based treatment. Treatment is based on the adolescent’s individual needs.

STAR Council Outpatient Treatment program recognizes the chronic, progressive, and devastating aspects of addiction. It is our goal to provide services that address not only the substance use, but also the physical, social, family, and emotional well-being of each individual. The treatment programs are based on “best practice” and evidence based curriculums in connection with well trained and licensed counselors.

Served in the US Army from 2002 - 2018 before retiring as a First Sergeant (1SG/E-8). Experience includes two combat deployments to Iraq, totaling 30 months, the Purple Heart, (2) Meritorious Service Medals, and the first class of Master Recruiter Badge recipients.
