Josh Nelson is an accomplished designer, award winning creative, world explorer and urban enthusiast. After graduating from at OCADU, he expanded his architectural training to include how built spaces relate to the greater human experience, collective memory, and habitation of both the physical and digital landscape. Founding the JNKM Design Studio, Josh has delivered numerous interior design projects and brand experience solutions for small and medium sized businesses. His drive to empower engaged and interesting clients through design based solutions supports his overarching desire to improve the world around him. Expanding the studios reach, Josh has gone on to founding and managing two digital startups along with a design leadership role in the vertical transportation industry. Throughout the years he’s advocated for Canadian manufacturing and design, won awards in sustainable infrastructure, been published in international magazines and continues to be a champion for small and medium sized business as well as more ethical neighbourhood and community development. While his aspirations are always evolving, the underlining passion of communicating idea’s through quality and imaginative ways remains prevalent in his ongoing contribution to the design community.
