Co-founder and Director of Operations for Green Road, a group of companies with common values and aspirations that provide simple, creative, and sustainable solutions to the resources industry. In addition to Director of Operations for Green Road, my technical role with Mine Waste Management, as Senior Environmental Geochemist, has me specialising in the development and implementation of mineral waste management systems. I have worked extensively with iron ore mines in WA’s north-west region, as well as having worked across a diverse range of commodities across Australia as well as within Africa, Asia, Europe, and Central and North America.More recently, work has been focused in the development and implementation of AMD management systems requiring engagement and adoption by multiple disciplines across all stages of mine life. This includes the development and implementation of global management standards for two multi-national mining companies with a combined reach of more than 80 sites globally. This has required close work with key site and management personnel across many different disciplines to develop operational mineral waste management procedures that are easy to implement resulting in effective adoption of management strategies.
