As the buyer for the Wild Center, I marry the mission of the museum with merchandise that visitors want and expect. I dig deep into the exhibits to find meaningful ways to extend their story across vast merchandise selections that appeal to all ages of visitors. Both buying and creating product that reflects the mission of the museum are key to keeping the retail store at the top of its field in cultural commerce. I have a deep knowledge and understanding of selecting products and managing the process. Cornerstones to success are in securing terms and lasting relationships, and in maintaining engaging merchandise. As a result, the store has grown to become a destination in its own right and a financial asset to the museum.
