Workshop assistant on many varying music education projects. These projects have included:- Song-writing workshops in partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust and Albert’s Band in the Royal Albert Hall, in partnership with Turtle Key Arts and the English Touring Opera for 16-30 year olds with autism and for those suffering from dementia along with their carers.- Projects with Tri-Borough Music Hub including the Tri-Borough School Christmas Concerts and ‘Convo’, a project that ran song-writing workshops in schools, from which the children’s ideas were made into a work performed in the Royal Albert Hall by over 1,000 children.- ‘Sparkles’ – a weekly programme teaching music and movement to nursery and reception-aged children using Dalcroze teaching methods.- ‘Mini Sparks’ – a sing-along and musical play initiative for very young pre-nursery children.Responsibilities: Assist the workshop leader in the delivery of creative workshops, keeping participants engaged and well-supported through the process, adapt with the leader if the class requires.Key Achievements: Planning and leading workshops alone, mentored by leaders at Turtle Key Arts and ‘Sparkles’, learning practical and effective ways to present and lead classes.

Receptionist at a Saturday Music School for children of all school ages in Parsons Green.Responsibilities: setup and close of the Saturday school, class register checks and adherence to our Safeguarding Policy, dealing with parent enquiries, updating Jackrabbit classroom management software, mailing list management and other various administrative tasks.Key achievements: Optimisation of the mailing list, aiding in the successful organisation and running of the annual Open Day, Summer Fete, Silent Auction and Fundraising Concerts.

Concerts Officer in charge of organising all Student Union (SU) concerts and music-making.Responsibilities: communicating with composers of new music, creating and working to deadlines with these composers, arranging all student-led concerts, contacting and fixing all players, arranging rehearsal schedules and booking rehearsal spaces, clearing any copyrighted music featured in any concerts, the organising and printing of sheet music for the orchestra, stage-managing the concerts and liaising with the RCM’s Front of House Staff.Key achievements: the successful organisation of 3 themed orchestral film-music concerts among other smaller events, liaising with the conductors, players and College administration to create rehearsal schedules and performances raising hundreds of pounds for the SU charity.

Resident Assistant in Prince Consort Village providing pastoral assistance to students as well as administrative support to the staff on the front desk.Responsibilities: Answering calls, taking and sorting deliveries of resident’s mail, checking in new residents using the StarRez booking and information portal, pastoral care of residents and planning, budgeting and delivery of the social events programme put on by the Village as part of the Resident Assistant Team.Key Achievements: Digitization of sign-out paperwork, the organisation of many events throughout the year including a Day’s ‘Festival’ of music, food stands, a bouncy castle and lawn games.
