With Big Dog, i started out as a dispatcher, tracking and tracing shipments. Creating on time pick up and delivery reports. Dispatching route drivers and monitoring daily shipments. Eventually, I moved into Logistics and was trained on the different accounts and how to manage and monitor accounts. Ensuring customer needs were meet, we did everything from consolidation to any kind of trucking need.As operations manager, monitoring day to operations, evaluating cost savings, carrier performance. Training for new employees, major involvement in new customer accounts.As Government division manager, I was responsible for working military contracts with DDRT and Menlo. Working with military bases and ports, handling trucking moves from anything pertaining to LTL freight to moving recovery tanks, presidental staircase to name a few.
