Maintain the highest level of customer service, managing and resolving in-person and phone customer service issues in a timely and professional manner.Serve as a primary point of contact for box office questions and concerns related to the ticketing database software.Manage the day-to-day operations of the box office, including but not limited to - Create, maintain, modify, and manage all ticketed events in a computerized environment. - Print, organize, and mail online ticket orders. - Manage the box office safe, including cash requests and envelopes for multiple events within the venue on a daily basis. - Assist marketing and development departments with database list pulls and discount code requests as needed. - Balance and reconcile all revenues collected from ticket sales and ancillary income on a daily basis and prepare deposits for accounting department. - Manage the process of filling internal order requests timely and accurately. - Manage and delegate duties as needed to box office staff, assisting and supporting any job function as needed. - Communicate with box office staff on a daily basis to ensure they have the most current information relating to upcoming performances and events, including applicable on-sale dates, ticket prices, discounts, show descriptions, age appropriateness, run times, etc.Assist Marketing department in executing annual subscription and single ticket sales campaigns, including renewal reminder outreach calls to current subscribers.Work proactively with Marketing, House Management, Production, and Events departments to anticipate ticketing/customer needs and questions related to upcoming performances and events, and have responses/procedures ready and communicated to part-time box office staff. Create and track group sales orders for Wilson Center performances, including Beyond the Classroom.

Summer internship between school years; I worked in most of the major areas (production, filling orders, retail in three separate stores, and quality control) over several summers, developing interpersonal skills (overcoming language barriers with my coworkers and serving customers) and a knowledge of the workings of the company as a whole.

Summer internship; I worked in a variety of capacities here. I helped put together a set, ran the sound board for a one-night show, addressed envelopes, entered contact information for actors and patrons, and assembled a bookshelf, though most of my time was spent either organizing files, folders, and historical documents in the archive room or reorganizing plays and other books in the theatre's library.

Weekend job; developed valuable interpersonal skills (overcoming language barriers with my coworkers and serving customers) and insight into the food service industry.
