Radio Program Manager for Iraq, responsible for a $90 million dollar program with over 200,000 fielded systems. At the national level, lead the organizing, training, equipping, developing, sustaining, and mentoring of the Iraqi Security Forces. This included near daily engagement with senior Iraqi officials in the Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior, and the Counter Terrorism Bureau. Enabled Transition Team efforts at all levels with equipment, training, and logistics. Direct the procurement, training, spectrum management, and logistics for all U.S. government radio programs. Responsible for the transition of U.S. programs to foreign military sales (FMS). These programs totaled $234.5 million dollars and required direct coordination with the Security Assistance Office, senior Iraqi officials, and their staffs. Coordinate and assist the Government of Iraq in the design, funding, and fielding of communications personnel and equipment for four Iraqi divisions, the 10 percent increase to the Iraqi Police Force, and the Department of Border Enforcement’s secure radio network. Manage six U.S. military personnel, 59 contracted personnel, and numerous commodity contracts. Earned the Bronze Star for performance in assigned duties.
