Josh oversees the Mergers & Acquisitions, Health and Benefits team for the Mid-Market at Willis Towers Watson. My focus was on advancing Aetna's marketplace position through retaining and growing key employer groups. Addionally, Josh has significant interaction with insurance carrier and vendor leadership to help promote and further local and national goals and objectives. Two 2 of the biggest accomplishments of were the development of the Willis Advantage Exchange Solution and development of a national benchmarking tool, MarketMover. Josh played a primary role in the evaluation of the Exchange marketplace, selection of Liazon, implementation of the white labeled product, development of sales tools, and training of the sales team. MarketMover was a first of its kind, benchmarking tool that provided real-time information on the competitiveness of the insurance carriers, cost and plan design trends, broken down by industry and regions.

This consists of managing a team of 6 placement specialists & financial analysts while developing existing and new vendor relationships within the financial services, insurance, and health and wellness industries.

This included strategic renewal planning, reviewing financial results, developing projections, assisting in escalated claims, fixing billing and eligibility problems, developing employee communications, coordinating and conducting open enrollment meetings, and maintaining corporate compliance standards. Developed specialization in consumer driven healthcare, wellness program development, and self funding.

Role consisted of developing Request For Proposals, reviewing market quotes, summarizing results in to client proposal, negotiating pricing and terms, and presenting to Human Resources and C-suite executives.
