I learnt many skills whilst working here and the most unfurl skill I fell was, although it could be very stressful at times, the customer could never know this! I would often return to help out at the weekend or another other time I was free whilst working at my other jobs, until moving to Spain. Show less

In 2012, I applied and was accepted to become a Team Leader for the Step into Sport Camp and Level 4 School Games at the Olympic Stadium, London, in order to further inspire and help other young people gain the confident to not only grow in there leadership and/ or sporting skills, but also be able to further themselves as a person. In 2013, I continued on my Youth Sport Trust journey as a Team Leader at the National Talent Orienteering Camp, being paired with the British Paralympic Association, helping rising sporting stars with a disability to succeed to the best of their ability in their sport. Due to the way I dealt with different situations during the National Talent Orienteering Camp, I was then invited to be Top Team Leader for the forthcoming and my final Step into Sport Camp. This involved working with the Youth Sport Trust staff in order to ensure all Team Leaders and young people at the camp were fully supported in every way. These Step into Sport Camps were focused on bringing able bodied and disabled athletes and leaders together to show that having a disability can still enable you to be just as successful as able bodied people, in every aspect of life. I strongly feel this experience with Youth Sport Trust has changed me as a person in many aspects, including confidence, speaking in front of large groups of people, differentiation when planning everything in life (games, lessons, accessible journeys) in order to ensure everybody is included at all times and problem solving, quickly and calmly, to any problem that may arise.
