In October 2023 - I joined the sister business to bdl recruits, bdl connects. Sister company to bdl recruits, I moved over to the business in October to implement some structure and much needed processes around sales/marketing and recruitment. The role was multi-faceted, working with bootcamp/training providers across the UK, and large tech enterprises. The concept was simple, we would place candidates who had completed an IT bootcamp with the training provider, placing them into large tech providers - free of charge. The benefits for both included:1. Training providers had low successful outcomes from candidates completing bootcamps moving into a positive placement. 2. Tech businesses had an untapped market of new/early/future talent that had already extensive working experience - this market would be more inclusive and targeted than the traditional graduate/apprenticeship pathways.Some brief successes in the role included:- Re-establishing and improving relationships with training bootcamp providers- Securing 3 new contracts resulting in around £15k p/m- Improved candidate placements by 110% - Launching new pitch deck
