I was the four year old kid whose parents handed him the broken toaster because they weren’t sure how to fix it. I taught myself how to work on cars, build and race motorcycles, and never feared climbing a 100 foot cliff or jumping out of a helicopter. I fought my way through US Navy rescue swimmer school, managed a team of engineers that were more than twice my age when I was in my 20s, and then traveled the world as a field service engineer in my 30s. I have spent a lifetime thinking outside of the box, fixing what was broken, making it better than it was, and pouring myself into whatever project was at hand as I value dedication and hard work.
