The medical field was one of the things I thought as a kid I did not want to do but, as I went through schooling I realized that the medical field included so much more and I became intrigued by Athletic Trainers and Physical Therapists. This led me to becoming an intern with Daniel Carpenter, the Athletic Trainer at Cedar Valley High School, through Alpine School Districts CTE Internship program. As of last semester I ended that internship and was so grateful for the opportunity to be able to do it. I now started another internship through Alpine Districts CTE Internship Program and am training to become a CERT Team Member for the City of Eagle Mountain. It includes more medical Practices and helps the community to train individuals how to help in a natural disaster scenario. I love doing anything that involves physical activities or building and modeling things using computer programs. Being an athlete helped lead me to doing this internship because I've always been interested in how the human body performs under such pressure such as sports. I believe I am competitive, a good leader, great communicator, and have a welcoming personality. Some of my passions include sports and engineering. I have always been interested in the process of seeing a problem and building a solution to fix the perceived problem.I have taken Health and Emergency Medical Responder and am still in the process of getting my EMR certification. I am now an Intern with Athletic Trainer Daniel Carpenter with Cedar Valley High School and will be for the rest of the school year. I am taking Statistics and have passed Calculus 1. I am doing personal study of human anatomy specifically of muscles in the body.I would love to be apart of any organization that could fit into any of the above categories.
