I am a business-focused attorney who mobilizes teams and drives projects that help companies achieve their objectives within the applicable risk environment. I strive to provide counsel and leadership that is remembered less because of my abstract knowledge of the law, and more because it is the counsel that matters to stakeholders based on the factors that are critical to their business within the markets that they operate.In my current role at Motorola Solutions, I lead a growing team of 40 attorneys, regulatory and other legal professionals, that provides legal and regulatory product oversight to Motorola Solutions globally, including video security and analytics, command center software, and communications systems over radio and LTE. Our customers, whether public safety or enterprise, depend on these solutions for mission critical decisions. As the global product counsel team, we provide the legal and regulatory guidance that helps our business partners effectively get their disruptive solutions — many cloud based, data driven, deploying AI and other advanced analytics — from roadmap to market.In prior roles, my practice was primarily dedicated to structuring, negotiating and managing private and public market transactions of varying size for companies of all types, with a particular focus on growing companies in infrastructure and technology. I’ve done this both in-house and through private practice. I’ve frequently found myself operating within regulated environments (FCC, FERC, SEC/FINRA, data privacy,.— and more recently, the rapidly evolving AI landscape), and enjoy the experience of helping companies grow and flourish within the context of compliance with a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
