I am the third generation of Thompson Tank that was founded in 1973 in Bakersfield, California by my grandfather Jesse Thompson. We are a full-service tank company that is licensed in 11 states. In its more than 45 years Thompson Tank has served customers seeking turnkey projects, rebuilds, repairs, and seismic retrofits.At the age of 7, my grandfather would take me out to a job site and show me the processes of what the crews were doing. I become fascinated with it growing up so I started working for the company when I was 12 years old from pulling weeds, reorganizing storage containers, separating tank materials, etc. My summer vacation was always working for the company and in my early 20's I knew that this was the one I wanted to do as a career. I have been educated well by my father and my grandfather, not just the skills I needed to run our company but the integrity of being true and honest with all the people we deal with including our clients and suppliers.Thompson Tank has a variety of equipment and services with the experienced manpower ready to take care of your project needs.
