Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the WA Hospitality Association’s retrospective rating group program. The primary functions of the GM are to maximize annual performance of group and individual programs, by maximizing the annual performance and the customer satisfaction of individual group participants and/or the individual account.

Employer Resources Northwest is a Third Party Administrator that represents individual employer and Retrospective Rating groups for their industrial claims. As a Vocational Manager, I work in conjunction with assigned Claims Managers to address the various vocational aspects of WA state fund industrial claims.

Worked with industrially injured workers as an independent third party providing vocational services. Each claim had its own challenges and needs but in general the purpose was to assist workers in returning to the workforce. If return-to-work with their employer in one form or fashion was not possible then I was responsible for determining if they were considered to be employable by the standards set forth by the state of WA or if they needed to be retrainined. If they were found to require retraining then I would assist them with developing and implementing their retraining plan. If there were no retraining options for an injured worker, a recommendation for pension would be made.

Project sales demand for assigned clients in an effort to avoid shortages of inventory. Work closely with our Sales team and purchasing group to keep up with our customers needs as they arise and other Mis. Inventory issues that come up from day to day.

Assisted customers and agents requiring instruction with product related and system help. Also providing Underwriting guidence and assistance in understanding how a policy will provide coverage in case of a loss. Implemented peer-to-peer Monthly Training Materials for local Personal Lines Department to ensure changes and updates were known and able to be communicated to incoming callers. A part of the Web Inquiries Team responsible for electronic requests submitted from our company website to improve and develop our customer experience.
