I will be providing Data Center solutions to my client to include Server, Network, Firewall, Storage, and Security appliance environment implementation, troubleshooting of problem issues and routine server maintenance and backup solutions.

I worked in Cell Site Acceptance, making sure the new sites that were coming online were ready to go commercial. This includes knowing the ins and outs of each technology and being able to quickly and concisely identify problem sites and coordinate with the OEM to resolve any issues before they were accepted into Sprint's network.

I was part of the CSSA RAN (Radio Area Network) Tier 2 group. We were the point of escalation for both RAN Tier 1 and Field Engineers when there was an actual MMBS (Multi-Mode Base Station) alarm for connectivity and physical issues that could not be resolved at the first level. We were also responsible for the Cisco 2491 and 901 CSRs (Cell Site Router) that is the connectivity point between the Telecom circuits and the MMBSs. Because we were working on remote sites we also worked on T1 and Fiber circuits that are the path from our Cisco 9010 IPA to the CSRs. Another area of responsibility was to verify configuration of Cisco 9010 ports and the remote CSRs for both T1 and Fiber circuits. We were also the point of vendor engagement for post migration, from legacy sites, issues that are within the SLA time frame for Samsung responsibility. We were also responsible for identifying and fixing performance issues as they occurred to ensure optimal levels of cell site performance.

Provided all areas of IT support to multiple clients to include completing workstation and server builds to clients specification to include:-Installing motherboard and all components-Installing the specified OS and all necessary software for end users-Setting up VPN’s for company laptops and verifying connectivity-creating user in active directory and assigning rights, groups, access to folders-set up user accounts for outlook -Installed drops for VOIP and data lines, punched Cat 5E cable, and ran the lines for customers when necessary-Helped to configure Cisco switches and routers for large scale network- setting up vlans, and configuring port access on the switches-provided mobile device support (tablets, phone, and blackberry)-set up e-mail accounts through Touchdown for smartphones, tablets, kindle-set user access for company and personal wifi devices. I rooted a phone for my boss as a project and I now have a better understanding of how custom ROMs are created and deployed

Provided Tier 1 software support to multiple tax offices throughout the United States. Utilized Remote Desktop connections to hop from our server to the remote clients server to install, troubleshoot, and maintain software for the 2012 tax season.

Successfully completed the IT Admin track at Centriq and now possess my A+ and Security +, and I am currently working on my CCNA.
