Tom Price Project Engineering – Project Engineer Aspects of the role included input to projects through different study phases from order of magnitude through feasibility prior to implementation. Through implementation was responsible for contractor management including reporting, quality assurance, scheduling and cost control. Based in Tom Price worked as part of a team implementing sustaining Capital project for the brownfields Tom Price mine.Brockman 4 Project – Site EngineerSeconded to the Project EPCM, Calibre Global, was involved in all aspects of construction management. Key duties included:- Technical query management including seeking input from head office design engineers as appropriate- Quality management including issuing and closure of non-conformance reports- Site supervision including Section 44 responsibilities under the Mines Act- Schedule and progress tracking and reporting Standardisation Project – Structural EngineerBased in Perth reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, completed a process of design development, checking and modifications for a number of existing facilities which would form the basis of a future standard suite of facilities, including workshops, thickening, train load out and crushing. Outcome was ensuring the facilities were compliant with Australian and Rio Tinto standards. Brockman and Nammuldi Truck Utilisation ProjectsLed and supported a number of projects aimed at improving the efficiency of the production fleet. Through detailed data analysis and verification recommendations were presented to management, which were approved and implemented, resulting in increased truck utilisation.
