My position oversees all production planning, continuous improvement projects and production scheduling for our cold rolling mill, heating treating process, packaging line and slitting operations.-Launching of our corporate SAP system.- Maintaining MRP-Inventory Control- Ordering of raw materials- Publishing KPI’s. -Establishing clear lines of communication between our plant departments (material technology, maintenance, production personnel, sales and supply chain management).-Creating capacity schedules, production schedules and machine programs to maximize OEE.- Assisting with supply chain management with MRO purchases.- Establishing Max and Min quantities of critical items.- Projecting work roll usage and coordinating outbound shipment for external work to be done.- Forecasting production on quarterly bases. - Overseeing packaging of coils for domestic and non domestic customers to match purchase order requests.- Hosting meetings to review process efficiency, KPI's, production restriction and process feasibilities.

Being a part of the green up project for Bilstein's first American venture. Writing SOP, PM, SWP, and etc. Implementing leadership strategies with Leadership Strategies of Western Kentucky University. Heading up projects for logistics, installation, and commissioning of equipment. Determining and ordering all units consumable, storage, and tooling needs. Focusing on the correct and unique implementation of lean manufacturing. Launching a new SAP system. Gaining experience in procurement by quoting and buying goods/services with serving as a Supply Chain Specialist for 6 months . Operating and training on rolling mills, slitter's, overhead cranes, and heavy equipment.
