Assisted with writing and editing curriculum for the Junior National Young Leaders Conference which focuses on American History aimed at inspiring leadership in middle school students. Hired, managed and trained a staff of 20 Faculty Advisors and Scholar Relations team members on proper facilitation methods and techniques aimed at enhancing scholar experience while attending our conference. Assigned roles and placements to staff members, maintained payroll, observed Faculty Advisors facilitation and provided feedback, provided staff with support and ideas for encouraging scholar participation and improving overall experience during the 10 week duration of the program over the course of spring, summer and fall.

Planned and implemented behind-the-scenes logistics for the National Youth Leadership Forum on National Security, National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine and Junior National Young Leaders Conference. Responsible for maintaining a secure facility for conference attendees as well as high profile speakers, including the Admiral to the U.S. Coast Guard and current and former special agents to the FBI, CIA and NSA. Assisted with assigning and ensuring attendees had proper clearance to secure site visits to venues such as the Pentagon, CIA, Quantico, FBI Training Academy and Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate. Managed staff payroll, program budget and coding, and corporate credit card, coordinated and purchased materials, scheduled travel, and hired, trainedand managed staff of 20.

Responsible for management of Program Coordinators for the National Youth Leadership Forum on Medicine that took place in Philadelphia, Raleigh and Houston area at multiple medical schools, hospitals, and clinics in the region with 1700 attendees during five program forums in the summer. Responsible for handling multiple contracts with vendors around the country valued over $500K. Planned multiple large scale events including outings to Dorney Park, Westover Country Club and the Spirit of Philadelphia, educational components including a live broadcast of a total knee replacement streamed to multiple cities in the U.S., coordinated visits for students to numerous medical schools, hospitals and clinics and booked multiple doctors, surgeons, residents, specialists and patients to speak with forum attendees in both large scale and personal settings. Tasked with managing all dining, catering, housing and conference needs at Villanova University and assisted with these needs at University of North Carolina and the Renaissance Greenway Plaza in Houston, TX.

Envision EMI, Site Director 12/08-01/09Hired and trained an overall staff of 800 individuals on policies and procedures involved with implementing large scale events in Washington, D.C. Directly managed a site of 15 staff and 150 students for the 2009 Inauguration of President Barack Obama during a youth leadership conference with over 15,000 students in attendance. Handled five contracts with Marriott International valued at over $100K, assisted in the planning and implementation of events, including keynote speeches by Former Vice President Al Gore and Gen. Colin Powell. Led students to the 2009 Inauguration on the National Mall through a record setting crowd and safely guided them to L’Enfant Plaza to awaiting buses.
