Engage in final walk through with client.* Inform of proposal status, timelines and delivery information to clients and internal teams.* Interface with internal departments & clients to resolve issues.* Be well knowledgeable and fluent in BPS inventory.* Build & maintain new accounts by attending networking events at ILEA, MPI, WIPA, & SITE.

Las Vegas, Nevada Area

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Producer to sell, design and produce special events for corporate and social clients of MGM Resorts International properties.- Conduct sales calls and prospect clients to drive revenue for the department and company. - Develop creative solutions for client event requests as assigned; ensure that designs meet property and client expectations, are within budget and deadlines are met.- Complete all required paperwork in detail: proposals, cost sheets, contracts, worksheets, change forms, floral demonstrations, load lists, tear down notes, etc.- Attend client site inspections, pre-cons and participate in FAM trips and meetings as needed- Be prepared for and provide input in internal and client planning meetings.- Foster and expand relationships with property Catering, AV, Convention Sales and Services departments.- Review outgoing event bays, pull-lists, worksheets and tear down notes to ensure that Crew Leads understand the scope of the event.- Assist with event installations as needed. Participate in critique and final walk through with client.- Communicate project status, timelines and delivery information to clients and internal teams.- Cultivate a creative and collaborative environment to inspire design and build cohesive teams within the department, division and properties- Interface with internal departments, clients and properties to resolve issues.- Promote best practices: provide ideas to improve sales strategies and operations.- Mentor, coach and train employees on event design and sales techniques. - Stay current with trends and styles and in knowledge of hotels/venues and ballroom specs.- Be well versed on the Event Image site (AIM) and fluent in MRE inventory.- Be active as an MGM Resorts Events ambassador for the company and within the industry.

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Supervisor to supervise all details of event rentals, entertainment and outside services. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.Specific Job Functions: • Responsible for all details of assigned events to include rentals, entertainment, outside services. • Work in conjunction with Event Manager to Act as first point of contact in the absence of the manager.• Prepare proposals and detailed cost sheets from start to finish for events under $10,000 (may exceed) as assigned • Prepare organized worksheets for use by MRE and hotel department staff• Prepare invoices: pull labor and expenses and create P&L statements• Facilitate event set-up by acting as on-site supervisor to crew leads and talent• Oversee rental load-in/out and setup/breakdown. Monitor rentals for damages and coordinate return shipments.• Interface with hotel departments to resolve issues• Be fluent in MRE inventory and be well versed on the Event Image site (AIM) • Research, select, hire and supervise specialty labor, photography, entertainment• Research, select and procure specialty products and coordinate any special needs• Perform purchasing process: Prepare Purchase Requests and issue Purchase Orders, distribute to Receiving, close POs when complete. Verify invoices for payments. • Request Fire Permits and Certificates of Liability in conjunction with Risk Management• Network in the industry to expand vendor base. Research and setup new vendors: request catalogs and pricing, shop and negotiate prices• Adhere to MRE Performance Standards• Perform other job related duties as assigned.
