Hello, Hello! I’m Joshan! I’m a generalist with knowledge and skills in a wide variety of topics. Ever since I started my career journey, I have been in the tech startup space and I love how there is always something new being cooked up.Recently, I joined Sportskeeda - one of the world's leading sports journalism companies, as a Product Manager. I will share my insights from this company after I have spent at least a few months here.Previously, I handled Product at Geektrust. We are a SaaS company that focuses on solving the problem of recruitment. We help developers connect with the right companies and help hiring managers find the right tech talent for their teams. While this may sound like a normal recruitment company, our USP was that we placed candidates based on their coding skills instead of their resumes. I was responsible for building a great user experience on the B2C platform (a job marketplace) while also keeping in mind the requirements of our B2B clients.Some of my major contributions include building a new job portal (3x increase in activation), a recommendation logic, improving onboarding (80% increase in completion rates) and automating workflows (reduced manual work by 55%). This helped the company acquire more than 100,000 developers and helped hire for more than 600 companies in the market.Prior to Geektrust, I was part of the founding team at Vauld.Vauld is a cryptocurrency fintech platform where you can buy, sell and lend cryptocurrencies. Here, I was primarily responsible for 0-1 growth, user acquisition and brand awareness. By organizing a referral program, creating content and handling social media, I was able to acquire the first 60,000 users with our first main launch within 6 months.In both these organizations, I worked closely with the founders to ensure we were solving the right problems for our users.
