Led product and engineering in Viasat's Global Networks & Technology division. 80+ products across 5 regions spanning terminals, data/control/management software, platform services, networking, and gateways worldwide which connect millions of humans and machines to a global, multibillion-dollar satellite constellation. Customer mix of commercial airlines, business jets, governments, villages, boats, businesses, schools, and homes. Select production incidents weathered: micrometeorite strikes, cyber attacks, and intermittent degradation as a result of unanticipated differential latency.

Led a global engineering and product organization delivering secure infrastructure and platform services worldwide with responsibility across cloud, hardware, software, and networking teams. 20+ product teams across 5 regions. Expanded scope of team with a focus on automation including a scheduler enabling efficient signal processing at scale on bare metal (>100 Tbps).

Led teams responsible for the development, operation, and scaling of Viasat's software-defined global infrastructure platform to enable internet for 50+ million passengers per month and deliver 300Gbps+ from space using multiple satellites in geostationary orbit. Platform scaled by 5x over 4 years. Successfully onboarded two geostationary satellites including the world’s highest throughput satellite at the time, ViaSat-2.

Led product management for cloud services (IaaS+ and PaaS) within the HP Helion portfolio. Customers included Verizon, Visa, and BNYM.

Shipped the Helion Development Platform, HP's PaaS offering, working with a global engineering team. Launched HP Cloud DNS within one quarter - saw immediate use from Netflix, eBay and PayPal. Also shipped HP Cloud Database and Messaging services.

Led SaaS and PaaS initiatives by defining the roadmap, features, and guiding products delivered through myboeingfleet.com, Boeing's engineering data and e-commerce platform.

Responsible for search, collaboration software, and related distributed systems leveraging custom and COTS software.

Recruited to participate in two year, six rotation technology leadership program which led to diverse technical experiences in all major business units within Boeing.

While attending university, developed web applications to deliver course content online using PHP, MySQL, Javascript, and a variety of other open source software.

Designed, developed, and launched startup website using the LAMP stack, resulted in 10x traffic increase and four-fold increase in revenue. Created a system that allowed writers and photographers to upload content from around the world.
