As Head of Corporate Alliances & Business Development at BioCentury, I lead a team that organizes conferences, receptions, and podcasts for biopharma CEOs and investors. These events are known for gathering "the right people in the room." They are designed to expand your connections through networking, partnering, and debate among peers. I am also responsible for building corporate relationships with biopharma executives, investors, and industry stakeholders, with a particular focus in key growth markets including Asia and Europe. If you are looking to position your brand or thought leadership at a peer-level to biopharma decision-makers, please DM me.I have dedicated much of my career (15+ years) to building cross-border relationships between Asia and the West. In this capacity, I created and serve on the Organizing Committee of BioCentury’s China Healthcare Summit and East-West Biopharma Summit, in collaboration with BayHelix and McKinsey & Company. I am also a co-founder of the East-West Healthcare Reception, an invite-only event held in San Francisco during the week of the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference. In Europe I serve on the Organizing Committee of BioCentury's BioEquity Europe conference, the industry's premier CEO and investor conference.Prior to joining BioCentury, for 7 years I created and led the emerging markets group for Elsevier Business Intelligence (now part of Norstella/Citeline). In this role I directed our expansion into Asia markets, developed PharmAsia News, the annual PharmAsia Summit and related products, and built a customer base and large network of industry champions in the region, including China, India, Japan and Southeast Asia. I served as editorial, business development and strategy lead in Asia/emerging markets. As a biopharma professional who has spent time on all ends of the information cycle - from analysis, to product development, to consulting - I have a unique perspective on what it takes to develop content and networks that C-level customers rely on to make business decisions.Specialties: Network-building, cross-border collaboration, corporate and business development for biotech decision-makers and investors.

Editor-In-Chief, Asia And Emerging MarketsElsevier Business Intelligence (Now Part Of Informa Plc) 2007 - 2014I created and led the emerging markets group for Elsevier Business Intelligence (now part of Informa plc), including PharmAsia News and the PharmAsia Summit. In this role, I served as editorial, business development and strategy lead for Asia and emerging markets. I built and led a team of bilingual Asia-based editors that first developed and launched PharmAsia News in 2007-08. Our group provided business and regulatory intelligence to biopharma and medical device executives doing business in China, India, Japan, Korea and the Pacific Rim. Increasingly, we also provided insight on other emerging markets including Brazil and Russia. In this role, I also led efforts to build and support our network of industry KOLs and other stakeholders who provided guidance, connections and exclusive insights for customers. Due to our work, PharmAsia News became the fastest-growing product for EBI, prior to its acquisition by Informa in November 2013. I also led initiatives to increase business and editorial opportunities in Asia and emerging markets for a suite of leading biopharma products, including "The Pink Sheet" and IN VIVO.In addition, I helped launch and led the annual PharmAsia Summit, providing strategic direction and developing the program in collaboration with an organizing committee of top thought leaders. After two years in San Francisco, we hosted the Summit twice in Shanghai, in 2012-13, in partnership with the BayHelix Group, working also with a knowledge partner, first Monitor Group and then McKinsey & Co., to develop a conference report on new growth models for China. To capture new business and adapt to evolving opportunities and competition on the Web, I also helped to develop EBI's social media strategy. I oversaw the creation of business intelligence blogs and social media sites that leveraged subscription-based publications and search engine optimization to generate and qualify leads for subscriptions, advertising and sponsorship.
