At the core, I am driven by a few basic tenets: respect for the process, fighting for the integrity of the work, keeping things simple yet effective, consistent evaluation and evolution, and preserving the lost art of actually giving a shit.With over fifteen years working in the world of advertising and commercial content, I have developed a holistic approach to my role in production; finding harmony and crossover within the positions of Director of Photography, Senior Editor, and Colorist. Essentially, it all revolves around manipulating light, composition, and tempo to engage viewer interest while best conveying the creative intent. While I enjoy working individually in each of these positions, I find it most rewarding to be involved in a multidisciplinary approach — being brought on early in execution of the creative and sheparding the content from sensor to screen.
