I bid on and won my first job as a subcontractor in high school. Coming from a blue collar family, my dad and Granddad were business owners running their own electrical contracting business. I started learning how to run operations when I was unloading wire and light fixtures with my Dad on job sites as a kid. He would approach me and say, “I have an opportunity for you!” It's become my mantra.Leadership, empathy, leverage and perspective were lessons taught to me often over coffee in the morning before he went off to work. I took his advice into a successful operations career in tech-enabled, high growth environments and co-founded and built a tech-enabled manufacturing company to almost $40 million ARR in three years.My spouse is my guiding light, and my son is the coolest!
