Regularly approached by Government Departments Australia-wide to consult on business processes and advise on suitable solutions. As a founding owner of Diversus the goal was to make a difference to IT Solutions and Business Consulting Services in Perth. As Principal Consultant I was responsible for a number of key engagements. Recruited to deliver an information system capable of supporting the day to day operation of the Working with Children Screening Unit. Responsible for the development of both business and system processes to facilitate the implementation of the Working with Children (Criminal Record Checking) Act 2004. Project was under funded with extremely tight timeframes that were unable to move due to political commitments. However, the project was delivered on time, within the available budget with increased functionality.

Recruited to develop an employment screening process to handle the criminal record screening and work rights screening of both prospective and current employees. On successful completion of the project, Joshua was further commissioned to perform an overhaul of the State’s Prison Officer Recruitment process. This was a large project undertaken in an environment largely adverse to change. The result was the most successful recruitment process held in over 5 years.
