As the principal photographer & owner of Balanced Image Studio it is my role to market & sell the company's services, create stunning images for our clients and co-ordinate other photographers and videographers when required.Keeping up with trends within the photographic industry as well as the larger community is a small but vital part of daily life.

As Principal Photographer and owner of Balanced Image Studio we successfully tendered to cover games weekend which hosted 11 sports at 14 different locations over the 3 days.3 photographers were sourced and scheduled so that all sports were covered and a series of photographs were available for media releases, social media and the 14 participating Academies.

Milestones2Memories operates over 16 Santa Photography kiosks throughout NSW and Qld in the lead up to Christmas.As the Photographer, I was required to set up the stall each day, greet customers, initiate sales and upsell any potential items the company may have. We then introduce the children to Santa and take their photograph before handy the over to the assistant who shows the customers their photos.At the close of each day, we are required to reconcile money with cash register printouts, stocktake and bank the takings.

Working closely with the creative team and the Chairwoman, Robyn, I have followed the journey of the entrants from the announcement of the 2016 event, through shooting promotional work with new and inexperienced male and female model to current day where the final 12 have been announced and we are having high quality shoots to help them cement their place as the 2016 Illawarra Top Model. www.highlightsonmentalhealth.com.au

A broad role that went outside its job description, it presented some very exciting opportunities to help the business increase its position in the market place.Marketeer, Account Manager, Team Leader, Sales Consultant & Business Development Manager are just a few hats that were worn during my time.Some highlights include;- Launching a new product line and apply for & register the associated trademark- Increase customer base by 20%- Increase customer market segments from 3 to 7- Formulate budgets- Analyse Balance Sheets and P&L reportsThis role represented a great opportunity to work through the full business - front to end. Lead generation, enquiry, sale, production & invoicing, whilst keeping watch on the financial aspects of costs & profit.
