An analysis of the firms's ability to adapt, absorb knowledge and innovate was performed to evaluate the value creation of these strategies. Subsequently recommendations were proposed to contest low cost rivals. The study also identified specific dynamic capabilities that firms should focus on in order to differentiate and create/maintain competitive advantage in today's rapidly evolving business environment.
