Josh is a passionate and dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in higher education student services. He has experience in EDI and Anti-Racist pedagogy, Curriculum Development, large-scale event organization and execution, and staff + volunteer management and development. Especially through his event management experience, Josh has excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and adaptability skills that allow him to thrive in high stress situations. Furthermore, his academic and research background in the decolonization of higher education student services has given Josh the opportunity to develop a critical pedagogy dedicated to decolonization in every project, tasks, and situation. Josh’s dedication and work ethic allows him to successfully manage both personal and professional obligations, being able to balance multiple projects at a time, while executing them to a high standard of quality. Further, Josh’s work ethic and dedication contributes to his agency and “self-starter” attitude, being able to independently tackle projects and problem solving, while also being able to thrive in a team environment.
