I played computer games competitively into my early twenties, travelling Australia and some of Europe, collecting a national title and world championship title along the way. In 2007, I was offered a salaried position to play in the United States, and was forced to make a tough decision between sticking with my studies and pursuing the contract. I chose to stick with my studies instead. My dream had always been to play overseas, in front of the biggest crowds, against the toughest competition. I put that on hold for my development – finishing my Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Marketing in 2012. In 2014, I represented Australia at ESL One Cologne – captaining the Australian Battlefield team, achieving that dream I’d held onto for almost 7 years. When I came home, I officially ended my gaming career, and ever since, I’ve worked hard to make my two interests meet. My approach to marketing, just like my gaming, is strategic. It’s adaptable, contemporary and led by measurable data. It’s about the team around you and how you can work together to win.
