At Compound Sportswear I am active in many aspects of the company. First and foremost is creating apparel designs for customers. We use multiple application processes ranging from sublimation, screen printing, direct-to-film transfers, and embroidery, to create uniforms, jerseys, warm up gear, and more. Along with the design aspect I am also responsible for prepping art files for production, creating marketing materials (for our website, social media, and email campaigns), as well as ordering materials for our production processes.

Custom apparel design for team orders, and white label customers was my main focus while working for Addix, all while driving the art team to hit goals and maintain standards.I helped increase the audience and customer base by creating brand identity/recognition, copy writing, website design, social media marketing/advertising images, and production improvements.Hiring, training, and managing a team of designers became my responsibility once I was promoted to Creative Director (after my first year as a Graphic Designer).As the Creative Director I created a design process, strategy, and guidelines for current/future designers to follow in order to ensure high quality, and in demand designs for the target market(s).

I did any and everything involving design and production.Creating artwork from scratch, placing customer provided artwork, correcting artwork to be print ready, creating proofs for customer approval, printing on various medias using various printers, and producing finalized products.I also talked with customers about new/current jobs, and gave them design advice, on the project that they are creating.From time to time I would also go out to do installations of finished products for the customers.

I was able to assist the bartenders and servers so that they had all of the tools that they needed to successfully serve the customers to the best of their abilities.Restocking the bar, polishing glasses, pouring beers, running food, interacting with the customers, and sweeping/mopping were some of my duties.

In my time at Glow, I helped create a cohesive brand identity for Glow Social Media, in the form of letterhead for direct mailing purposes, info-graphics to be emailed to clients, and files in power point to be used during presentations.I also collected data to be used for the creation of the info-graphics.

Assisted new/returning cub/boy scouts, and their families, in picking out all that they needed to meet their pack/troops guidelines. Helped with opening/closing the store. Joined the manager on mobile scout shops.

Assisted customers with a variety of issues including helping troubleshoot issues with products, helping fix products, and giving them the information needed to make a decision on what products to purchase. Also helped upkeep the storefront and arrange point of sales materials.Our location was closed during the massive store closings across the country.

Was brought to this company when The Job Shop and Milo Designs had a merger. Managed the scheduling of jobs, ordering of supplies, and employees. Provided graphical assistance on prepress artwork for both screen printing and offset printing, to fix issues that arose during production, and also created artwork for customers. Was in communication with customers and corporate clients on a daily basis.I left this position to return to school full time, pursuing my bachelor degree.

Created artwork for both online and walk in customers to be used as a screen printed design on apparel. Also helped to create internal forms for company use.

Ran both a manual and automatic printing press. Scheduled the daily jobs, managed employees and was involved in all aspects of the screen printing process. Provided graphical assistance on prepress artwork to fix issues that arose and also created artwork for customers.Was brought to The Job Shop when the two companies merged.
