With 23 years of industry experience I feel I have my finger on the pulse of the DC marketplace. I have a proven track record of helping advisors and TPAs grown retain and improve their blocks of business as well as making a meaningful impact in the lives of their clients. I have had the unique experience to cover 3 distinctively different parts of the country and worked with advisors/tpas with many different styles and business models. In each of these assignments I was tasked with taking over territories that were consistent underperformers. I was successful in 2 of the 3 challenges in turning them into Top 10 territories for John Hancock and Lincoln and Transamerica. I happy to say that I am now back with Lincoln to once again rebuild this territory.I've enjoyed various aspects of the DC business throughout my career starting with being an enrollment specialist for the first 2 years in the business, then moving to an internal wholesaling position and finally in my current role as Regional Vice President for the past 20 years. I feel this is an important attribute to my advisors and tpas because I have seen the market from many different angles. My wife Elizeh and I made the decision to move to Baton Rouge, LA in 2007 to raise our daughters in the South after living in various parts of the country prior to children. Elizeh manages Team Gomez ( Berlin 17 and Bella 13) from home while enjoying her passions of shopping, travel and interior design. When not on the job I am an avid college football fan, a voracious reader, as well as playing golf and traveling the world ( last trip was Banyan Tree in Mexico - highly recommend). I am a big believer in giving back to causes that I am passionate about and currently those are the St George Catholic School where my daughters attend. I am an active member of the St George Men's Club where we raise money for various school needs as well as frequent work days assisting the maintenance staff.In 2021 I am proud to serve as the Corporate Walk Chair for the Louisiana Leukemia Society.
